About Us

A family business built on service

Two decades of moving bulk commodities for shippers across the Midwest.

Our History

Continuity, top to bottom

Omaha TransLoading is a family business that started in 2006. Steve Braithwaite and his sons have a rich history of business experience that began in the demolition industry — and the critical-thinking skills gained through those years have been among the most valuable keys to the company’s success.

Another key is an unwavering dedication to serving the client as the most important aspect of being in business. That dedication shows in the firm’s steady growth through changing economic conditions.

What Sets Us Apart

Built to be the reliable choice

Reliable by experience

We’ve grown by being dependable and by creating solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective for our clients.

Tailored programs

Because every client’s product and volume is different, we take the time to understand yours first — then build a transloading program around it.

Cost savings, passed along

Efficiencies built into our processes have produced continual cost savings — savings we pass along to clients across every product line and every market we serve.

Always equipped

We’re never caught short on the proper equipment, with a full material-handling fleet ready for nearly any bulk need.

BNSF Premier Partner

Proud to work with BNSF every day

As a BNSF Premier Transload Partner, Omaha TransLoading belongs to a select group recognized for service that’s consistently above and beyond the norm. By focusing on quality relationships with both the railroad and our clients, we provide value-added services that help our clients be more profitable.

Being served directly by a Class I carrier means our clients avoid the added fees and handling that come with short-line routing — a real, ongoing cost advantage.
